Your privacy matters to us. Spencio helps you manage sensitive personal information (your spending), and we treat that information with care.
What we collect
The data you enter (expenses, accounts, budgets, categories) is used only to make the app work for you. Spencio works fully offline and stores your records on your device by default. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
How Bank SMS Automation works
On iOS, Bank SMS Automation runs through Apple's own Shortcuts app, not a background service inside Spencio. You build a one-time automation that triggers only when a message matching a sender you choose arrives; iOS hands that single message's text to Spencio's "Process Bank Message" action at that moment. Spencio never requests blanket access to read your messages, and it never sees any message you haven't explicitly routed to it through your own automation.
How it's stored
Your records are stored securely on your device. Where sign-in and backup are enabled, data is encrypted in transit. You can export or delete your data at any time from within the app.
